This fall, we’re thrilled to present our third Teacher Concert at the Glaser Center in Santa Rosa, CA.
The Canote Brothers who were a hit last year, return to the stage and are joined by Special Consensus—a band celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025. Known for blending traditional bluegrass roots with contemporary flair, Special Consensus has earned Grammy nominations, eight IBMA awards, and international acclaim. Led by founder Greg Cahill and featuring 2025 IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year Greg Blake, Brian McCarty & Dan Eubanks they promise a performance you won’t want to miss.
Rounding out this stellar lineup are The Creek Walkers—Ivan Rosenberg, Joy Louise, Ryan Harlin, and Krishna Feeney—bringing their signature songwriting artistry to the stage.
We launched the Walker Creek Music Camp (WCMC) Teacher Concert Series in Spring 2024 with An Irish Spring Concert, featuring our extraordinary Irish music teaching staff: Michael Black, Liz Knowles, Marla Fibish, Eamon O’Leary, and others. The event was a resounding success, confirming how much our community values the opportunity to hear these remarkable musicians outside the classroom.
Our second concert, held that fall at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, CA, showcased the Canote Brothers alongside an outstanding roster of bluegrass and swing musicians, including Joseff Tucker, Jack Tuttle, Keith Little, Dave Keenan, and a powerhouse all-woman swing band featuring Katie Glassman, Sylvia Herold, Cindy Browne Rosefield, and Eva Scow.
We warmly invite you to join us for these unique, one-of-a-kind shows. Come enjoy world-class live music, connect with our camp community and help sustain the teaching and traditions that make Walker Creek Music Camp so special.
