The following guidelines and recommendations reflect the current state of the pandemic and are subject to change. We will continue to monitor relevant Federal, state and local guidelines and will update this policy if guidelines or conditions change.
Walker Creek Music Camp recommends that you be fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19, but we do not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to attend camp.
Masks are optional. Walker Creek Ranch provides high quality air purifiers in all class rooms. Campers who prefer to wear a mask are encouraged to do so. Our current Covid-19 Community Level for Sonoma and Marin counties is “Low”. If a “High” level is prevalent at the time of camp or you are coming from an area with a “High” community level we will recommend wearing a mask in public indoor areas.
Please provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken on November 2, 2023 prior to arriving at camp.
Do not come to camp if you test positive for COVID-19 within five days before the start of camp or experience COVID-19 related symptoms.
We are setting a closing date for registration to give ourselves more time to finalize the camp attendee roster and create a smoother setup/check-in process.
Coordinating our event has been challenging for Walker Creek Ranch due to staff shortages as they recover from Covid-19 closure. We are being asked to arrive later for setup/registration to accommodate the ranch’s event transition team and having all our ducks in a row will help.
That said, please register for camp early to get the best class/accommodation choices. We won’t be able to process last minute registrations as we’ve done in the past. Contact Michael if you have any questions.
In the unlikely event that camp is canceled for whatever reason, you are entitled to a full refund of your paid Tuition/Lodging fees.
Refund Policy
Note – Commercial event/trip insurance is available to campers for cancellations and we encourage you to purchase coverage for your tuition costs in the event you can’t make it to camp. Visit SquareMouth Travel Insurance for details and price quotes.
Deposits & Payments
Deposits: If you are unable to pay your full registration fee, you can pay a deposit of 25% of your tuition/lodging fee to reserve your place at camp. The balance can be paid over time using the Make a Payment option in the Registration menu. If the balance is not paid in full two weeks before the start of camp, your registration will be canceled and your deposit will be forfeited.
Payments: When you register for camp online, you’ll be instructed to pay via credit card, PayPal, or you may pay by check. If you pay by check, we must receive your check within 7 days of registering or your registration will be canceled.
We recently created a special scholarship fund for young adults (aged 18-30), and raise funds each camp to finance it. If you are in that age group and want to come to camp but are short on funds, ask for a scholarship application. If you would like to see more people from this demographic at camp and have any extra funds to contribute, donate to the fund–thanks! With this addition we hope to keep our camp multi-generational, with musicians from all age groups represented at every camp.
